A stiffer frame section increases the racquet's stiffness, while the most head-heavy balance in the Voltric series provides a clean, strong swing for a massive heavy smash.
To balance the heavy racquet head, the frame has been made smaller to maintain the fast swing demanded by advanced players.
VOLTRIC IS POWER
The stiff racquet structure at the top of the frame head allows the head to bend in a very controlled way and hold shuttles on the string bed for longer. The thin frame sides then allow the frame to flex more and transfer more energy to the shuttle. This combination allows you to smash with instant power.
VOLTRIC IS AGILITY
In VOLTRIC, the weight is balanced on the top of the frame and at the joint area which allows good handling while also maintaining power. The thin sides of the frame and at the top of the head reduce air resistance and improve the handling even further. Players can now make a full swing even during short range rallies as Voltric responds instantly to even subtle movements.

Another innovative Yonex technology, SOUND FILTER uses new materials at the two and ten o’clock positions to reduce only high pinched and dull soundwaves. NANOPREME
NANOPREME is a new level in ‘Nano-technology’, operating on a scale of less than one billionth of a meter by using an epoxy resin to bind graphite fibers together. NANOPREME overcomes the limited qualities of carbon technology to provide stiffness, high resilience and high repulsion from a single racquet material for the very first time.
TRI-VOLTAGE SYSTEM:
Traditionally, extra weight at the top of the racket frames has increased hitting power but reduced the speed of racket handling. In contrast, a lighter top to the frame increase speed but causes a loss of hitting power. For the first time, the new TRI-VOLTAGE SYSTEM successfully combines the contrasting characteristics of exceptional power and great handling.
Within the TRI-VOLTAGE SYSTEM, Tungsten inserts are positioned at the two and ten o'clock position on the frame, and at the T-joint area. Tungsten provides more than 10 times the relative density of graphite, allowing the sides of the frame to be thinner and therefore achieving the combination of heavy smashes and speedy racket handling.

ISOMETRIC:

This single-pass grommet hole construction provides more grommet holes, creating a high-performance stringing pattern that puts 7% more durability.
SOLID FEED CORE:
By the built-in Solid Feel Core, it cuts harmful miscellaneous vibration at the impact. [Solid Feel Core is carried in all of racquets manufacutured in Japan.
