Yonex Nanoray 800 Badminton Racket (2012*)
NANORAY'S frame serves two different purposes. The upper frame's aerodynamics reduces air resistance and the lower frame's high level strength increases repulsion power. Plus, the shaft's flexibility absorbs shock. This combined with a shaft that is designed for the lightning fast shot making even with a compact swing during the high speed rallies.
NANORAY 800 FEATURES:
X-FULLERENE:
Incorporating X-FULLERENE into the whole shaft strengthens the binding force, increasing stiffness by 6% and repulsion power by 4%.
This combination delivers high repulsion performance to hit deep into the opponent�s court even with a compact swing during high speed rallies.
Lightning fast shot-making- with high repulsion is generated by near-instant �snap back� from the shaft during the swing.
SONIC METAL:
An exceptionally strong, lightweight and flexible new titanium alloy which YONEX positions at the top of the frame. This has two advantages. Firstly, it gives you a higher repulsion power, especially in attack. Secondly, it creates a clear strong sound when the shuttlecock is hit.
ISOMETRIC:
The Isometric Square Head Shape equalizes the length of main and cross strings in the stringbed, enlarging the sweetspot for more consistent accuracy even on off-center hits.
NEW GROMMET SYSTEM:
This single-pass grommet hole construction provides more grommet holes, creating a high-performance stringing pattern that puts 7% more durability.
SOLID FEED CORE:
By the built-in Solid Feel Core, it cuts harmful miscellaneous vibration at the impact. [Solid Feel Core is carried in all of racquets manufacutured in Japan.
NEW AERO FRAME:
The secret behind NANORAY�s exceptional performance is a unique head construction featuring YONEX�s new AERO Frame structure where the frame sides vary in thickness between the top and bottom of the head.
The thinner top of the frame sides minimize air resistance for greater head speed, while the thicker sides at the bottom of the head generate maximum repulsion through greater frame stiffness

The new lightweight Built-in T-Joint is manufactured from an epoxy resin material that enhances the level of quality and performance by increasing the stability of the shuttle on the string bed and through the air.

CONTROL SUPPORT CAP:
