Carlton Razor V1.1 Badminton Racket
The new Razor V1.1 has been developed for advanced players with an offensive game. By shifting the balance point to make the racket head-heavy and stiffening up the shaft, the racket delivers a performance ideally suited for an offensive player. This set up delivers faster racket head speed and a more powerful stroke which is complimented with the sharp control and feel delivered by the Razor Guided Technology.

JAPANESE HM CARBON:
Sourced from Japan, Japanese Hi Modulus [HM]Carbon is the highest specification carbon available on the market ensuring your Carlton frame will outperform all other construction materials for frame response and stability.
XTREME TENSION FRAME:
Precision engineering and the utilization of the finest construction materials ensures your Carlton frame can accommodate 11% higher string tensions compared with competitor frames.
HEAD
RAZOR GUIDED TECHONOLOGY:
Softening the impact of the shuttle on the string bed to improve touch and feel has traditionally been delivered through softening the grommets at 3 and 9 o' clock. Tasked with improving control by over 50%, we have thrown away the rule book creating a revolutionary frame profile. The grommetless construction at 3 and 9 o' clock ensures direct contact between the cross strings and the racket frame. The increased synergy between the two racket elements ensures razor sharp racket control and feedback.
BI-AXIAL DYNAMICS:
Bio-mechanical analysis of the overhead badminton swing highlights two distinct aerodynamic directions evident during the swing phase.
Carlton's Bi-Axial Dynamic frame develops more efficient aerodynamics in both directions compared to competitor frames.
This increased efficiency is delivered through a cross sectional frame profile that is more aerodynamic than competitor frames. During development, over 80% of players stated the new Bi-Axial frame profile delivered increased swing speed.
OPTIMETRIC HEAD:
By combining the larger sweet spot size (resulting from the isometric geometry) and the increased air speed and control (created by the smaller conventional/Circometric geometry) within the same head shape, the new Optimetric head geometry delivers both power, airspeed and control in one frame.

Using a matrix structure, Carlton has re-engineered the end cap to reduce its weight by 28% contributing to overall enhanced playability.
