Power Channel
Black Knight innovation now brings the Power Channel concept to badminton with the models of the Power Channel Series. In addition, the top models also feature the new Vibra Plate frame construction.
The PC V60/V65 and V80/V85 add Vibra Plate to the mix. Vibra Plate Technology modifies the racquet's cross-section to stiffen the head against torsion on impact and to interrupt the transmission of shock through the frame to the handle. The result: an exceptionally solid hit - excellent for control on off-center shots, and outstanding for power hitters.

BLACK KNIGHT PC-V65 FEATURES:
Lighter and stronger than Titanium, Beryllium/Graphite mesh is found in serious performance level racquets. Many parts of supersonic aircraft are made of beryllium alloys because of beryllium's lightness, stiffness, and dimensional stability.
CARBON 4:
a highly effective form of carbon-graphite rated above conventional High Modulus Graphite.
HMG OR HIGH MODULUS GRAPHITE:
a high strength, high performance grade of graphite fibre.
VIBRA PLATE TECHNOLOGY:
It modifies the racquet's cross-section to stiffen the head against torsion on impact and to interrupt the transmission of shock through the frame to the handle. The result: an exceptionally solid hit - excellent for control on off-center shots, and outstanding for power hitters.
COMPETITION GRIP:
an absorbent cotton base covered by a tacky outer layer with an almost flat surface. However, a slight ridge, created by stitching, winds up the handle. This ridge creates surface resistance for a surer grip in hot conditions.

In badminton, a larger string surface means a wider and longer sweetspot and more liveliness in the strings. Yet if you enlarge the head you reduce the head speed. Thus our challenge - add more string area without enlarging the head.
The BK solution: with a Power Channel groove in the head, a racquet delivers the best of both worlds ? the string surface becomes larger and more responsive, but the head size does not increase. The result: performance without penalties.
This model is 67 cm in length, 0.5 -1.0 cm longer than traditional racquets.
Adding extra length in a lightweight badminton racquet is the surest way to add power. The longer axis between the hand and the point of contact adds head speed, and that translates into more energy to the shuttle.
Traditionally, badminton racquets are built 66-66.5 cm in length. At Black Knight, you will find most of our full graphite racquets to be 67cm, with a few models available at 68cm for the maximum effect.
Many XL models also have long handles for players who change their grip position according to the shot being played.
